Why We Exist
At LIFE International, our mission is to uphold the value of all human life worldwide. We equip, empower, and release global Christian leaders to proclaim the infinite value of God’s image in all people. We’re passionate about helping people and communities affected by the devaluation of life.
With over a century of combined ministry experience, our staff is committed to promoting the value of every life. Our vision at LIFE International is a world where people of all nations find their hope and healing in Jesus Christ.
Where We Minister
The building at the corner of Fountain Street and Ransom Avenue in Grand Rapids, Michigan, began its life as a Jewish synagogue in the late 19th century. A hundred years later, it housed West Michigan’s largest abortion clinic, where an estimated 2,000 preborn children lost their lives each year to abortion.
In 2004, after many years of prayer by the local community—and ten years of operation by the abortionist—God redeemed His house by allowing the building to be restored as a place that brings the light and life of Christ to the nations.
72 Ransom Avenue now serves as the head office of LIFE International, and it stands near the geographic center of our city as a testimony to God’s faithfulness to His people.

God
There is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ
Jesus is true God and true man, was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died in our place on the cross, and rose bodily from the grave. He ascended into heaven and sat down at the right hand of the Father, where He, the only mediator between God and man, continually makes intercession for His own.

Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is a person of the Godhead who convicts people of sin, regenerates, indwells, and empowers the believer, dispensing spiritual gifts and developing holiness.

Humanity
All men are sinful and lost and can be saved only by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Human Destiny
The resurrection of the dead includes all men: the believer to life everlasting and the unbeliever to eternal condemnation.

Salvation

The Church
The Church, who is the body of Jesus Christ for whom He will bodily return, is comprised of all who have accepted the redemption provided by Him. The presence of Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit in the believer will result in a life of personal holiness and a walk of obedience to the will of God.

Our History
LIFE International began as a global outreach of the Pregnancy Resource Center (PRC) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Recognizing the rich heritage of the prolife movement in the United States, and all it had to share with the world, the PRC worked to establish or partner with international ministries in other nations, including Trinidad, Guyana, Russia, the Netherlands, and more.
By the late 1990s, as the vast global need had become more apparent, the decision was made to spin off the international activity into a separate organization, releasing LIFE International to dedicate its full attention to the global challenges, and allowing the PRC to focus on its primary mission of providing compassionate care to women and families of the local community.
Kurt Dillinger, Executive Director of the Pregnancy Resources Center, stepped down from his role in 2001, and stepped out in faith to become the founder and president of the newly formed Life Initiatives For Eternity, or LIFE International, an organization dedicated to making known the Father’s heart for life in all nations.
