Praise Reports

• 2008 YTD statistics as of September 8 - 397 decisions for life, 1,431 decisions for Christ and 7,487 clients served! 
•  Ecuador Update - LIFE International sent a team to provide board  and volunteer counselor training at the Showers of Grace Pregnancy Center in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The training provided refocus on how to deal with abortion-minded women. The team also observed abstinence training at one of the local schools. God's protection was felt by the team in safe travel and a variety of other very tangible ways. To God be the glory!

Santa Cruz, Bolivia

• Pray for our center director in Bolivia in light of the current civil unrest. Please pray for her protection, and also for the safety of the staff and volunteers at the center.

Moscow, Russia

• Pray for the steering committee as they finalize their plans for the Anastasia Pregnancy Resource Center of Moscow.  Pray as they develop a website for this center and plan activities and ministries for the fall. Pray for the right person to serve as director, and for their initial steps of "going public" to be navigated wisely!

Eastern European Regional Office

• Please Pray for Regional Office Director, Larysa Ploskonis, as she looks for a strong administrative assistant to support the internal operations and provide support to Larysa.
• The home office is assisting Larysa as she plans the Eastern European Regional Conference for Pro-life ministry workers. The event is to be held October 23-26 in Mukacheve, Ukraine. We covet your prayers for the planning process so this will be a successful event that brings glory to God and encourages our brothers and sisters who stand for life in Eastern Europe!

 LIFE International's Home Office

• Please pray for LIFE's participation in the Eastern European Regional Conference titled Intimacy Before Impact, being held Oct 23-26 in Mukacheve, Ukraine.
• Pray for the Lord to raise up intercessors to join in praying at the International Prayer Center for Life.
• Pray for the final editing process of the Teacher's Edition of the Intimacy Before Impact Training Manual.
• Pray that LIFE International University would continue moving forward with the development of their first materials to be made available online and through other electronic applications.
