Praise Reports and Prayer Requests

Praises:

• Praise God for 1,252 prayer partners who lifted up LIFE’s staff and partners as we ministered in 25 nations throughout 2011! We truly witnessed that “the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James 5:16 TNIV

• Praise God for inspiring the Apprentice Leadership Training in Nairobi, Kenya, through Bramuel Musya at Straight Path Resources (SPR). Over the next few months, SPR is training 16 leaders from Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Sudan, Kenya, and Niger to further impact their regions for God’s Kingdom and life-giving ministry.

• Praise the Lord for the encouragement that LIFE’s staff received on January 3rd as we spent the first work day of the new year in prayer. Three local pastors came to share the devotions they had been praying about for this ministry. Each one spoke to the heart of where we believe the Lord is leading us in 2012!

• Praise God for Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, January 22nd, when churches throughout the U.S. reflected on the value of life created in God’s image and the abundant life that Christ came to give! We praise Him for all those who have committed to stand and defend preborn life in their community.

   

• Please pray for wisdom for LIFE’s ministry partner, Christina Milford, Director of the PRC in Jamaica, as she trains and mentors other ministries that are developing abstinence education programs for the youth in Jamaica.    

• Pray for  Life Hope Network in Nagoya, Japan. The ministry has recently been the primary subject of a documentary about adoption that will be televised nationally this month. They were also interviewed by two newspapers regarding their post–abortion counseling services. Pray for much fruit to come from these unsolicited opportunities as the message of adoption and healing spreads throughout Japan!

• Representatives of LIFE will help facilitate a special prayer gathering at Kingsland Baptist Church in Katy, TX on February 15. Please join us as the congregation prays for global sanctity of human life issues. Pray for this opportunity to expand the strength and depth of our prayer base.

• Please pray for God’s wisdom and direction as we seek Him regarding the timing and locations for Church Leader Trainings in 2012 in response to many invitations.
