Praise Reports and Prayer Requests

Praises:

• Praise God for the unity, equipping, and mutual encouragement that He provided for 99 participants from seven different countries as they gathered together in Kitwe for the Pan Africa Conference that was hosted by LIFE’s ministry partners, Edward and Barbra Mwansa, of Silent Voices Pregnancy Center. 

• Praise God for working through Kim Olson, one of our volunteer International Training Specialists, to facilitate a post-abortion retreat for the Elpis Center in  Trinidad. Kim also had the opportunity to share her testimony at a church and on air on prime-time radio. What an awesome opportunity to touch many lives! 

• Praise God that Rajapriya in India, who has been in a high-risk pregnancy, has given birth to a healthy baby girl! The doctors are calling it a “medical miracle.” Praise Him also for providing leading doctors to care for her during the latter stages of her pregnancy—and to provide their services at no cost!

• Praise God for guiding preparations for LIFE’s 10-year Celebration Banquet on May 7th. He has provided 58 table hosts, ministry partners who are generously giving of their financial resources and talents, and faithful prayer partners laying a foundation of prayer before the event! Praise the Lord for His faithfulness!

   

• Please pray for LIFE staff member Fran Malfer, International Training Specialist Patricia Tistadt, and International Steward member Dirk Ailts, as they prepare to facilitate a stewardship training May 13-20 with Lluvia de Gracia in Guayaquil,  Ecuador. Pray for wisdom and discernment for them as they seek to support, train, and encourage Lluvia de Gracia’s staff and board.       

• Pray Pray for two advance prayer trips coming up in May: Nogales, Mexico (11th-15th) and Kinshasa, DR Congo (17th-25th). LIFE staff member Bill Velker will be traveling to each location to invite and equip leaders to pray in preparation for the Church Leader Trainings (CLTs) taking place in these locations in June. Pray that the Lord will draw many into a month of prayer prior to each CLT.

• Pray for God’s hand of protection and health over Rajapriya in India and her newborn baby (see praise on reverse). Doctors encouraged her to terminate her pregnancy early on due to a health condition, but she courageously chose life for her child even though the risks to her were great! She is in critical care for the next few weeks after delivering a healthy baby at 32 weeks. Doctors say Rajapriya is still at risk of death. Pray that God will sustain her life and restore her to complete health!
