Thank you to those who are standing with LIFE to equip leaders worldwide to multiply life-giving ministry. Here is our 2011 Mid-Year Report, highlighting the equipping initiatives that have taken place so far this year and a preview of those yet to come.
A LIFE team recently traveled to Guayaquil, Ecuador to provide encouragement and training for the staff of Lluvia de Gracia (Showers of Grace) pregnancy center.
Centro de Vida, a pregnancy center in Bolivia we've been working alongside since they began in 2004, just launched a new income generating project--a Christian daycare center.
Yesterday, Kurt was interviewed by Wendy Wright of Concerned Women for America at their headquarters in Washington DC. Listen to the 10 minute interview, in which Kurt shares about LIFE’s work training leaders around the world.
The Kenya Church Leader Training is complete and seventy-two pastors received training on the sanctity of human life. Like when Jesus sent out seventy-two workers to go ahead of him and prepare the way for his coming (See Luke 10), we are praying that God will also use these seventy-two pastors as workers in his harvest field in Kenya.
As he battled through illness and spiritual resistance, LIFE staff member Matthew was grateful for those upholding his recent trip to Bolivia and Brazil in prayer. We believe that these prayers were answered and we are encouraged to see life-giving work moving forward in South America.
