Advance Prayer Initiative

The Advance Prayer Initiative is intended to help equip and encourage the hosts as they call others to join in a global prayer movement for God to heal their community, country, and the nations from the sin of abortion and other sanctity of human life violations.

Advance Prayer Initiative Objectives

  • To equip local pastors, prayer leaders, intercessors and church leaders with a foundational understanding of the truths concerning abortion and the sanctity of human life.
  • To communicate the purpose and overview of the Journey of a Life-Giver Training.
  • To envision a local group of individuals and leaders that will intercede before, during and after the Journey of a Life-Giver Training event.
  • To develop a plan and tools that will help facilitate and coordinate prayer initiatives for the event.

Advance Prayer Initiative Purposes

Prayer is essential in advancing the Church here on earth. It is our firm belief that it is through prayer that we can help prepare the way for the message the Lord has given us to share through the Journey of a Life-Giver Training. The Apostle Paul wrote to the Thessalonians asking for them to pray that the message of the Lord would be received and spread to others as it has been with them and to pray for protection from the evil one.

"Finally, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you. 2 And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil people, for not everyone has faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one". 2 Thessalonians 3:1-3

Prayer prepares the hearts of those present to receive Biblical Truths about the sanctity of human life and transforms the individual’s perspective on abortion. In Luke 3:4-6 we see John the Baptist preparing the way of the Lord Jesus and in a similar way, we too are preparing the way through prayer, for the Word of truth to be revealed in the hearts of God's people. In addition, prayer, intercession and worship are spiritual weapons God has given to the Church (Ephesians 6:10-20) to stand against the schemes and plans of the enemy who desires to hinder the work God has called us to join Him in doing.
