Facilitated by LIFE International staff or volunteers, the gathering aims to identify the issues that diminish human worth, understand the biblical view of the sanctity of human life, and discuss how these challenges are currently being addressed. Leaders will reflect on their ministries’ roles, consider how the Church can respond more effectively, determine what training or resources are needed, and collaborate on practical ideas for strengthening a culture of life. Post-Abortion Healing workshop offers a life-changing experience that focuses on giving and receiving forgiveness and finding healing from past hurtful experiences, which may or may not include abortion. Participants discover how their own personal experiences have impacted them and their relationships with God and others. Participants review the biblical foundations for forgiveness and healing; they are led and shepherded to break the bondage of past behaviors, and they gain useful insight into how to incorporate these truths into their lives, which leads to lasting freedom. By working through their own personal healing in a confidential setting, a foundation is laid for the Lord to work further healing in their lives and prepare them to minister to post-abortive persons.
