Our Global Work Continues to Make Known the Father’s Heart for Life

Stay-at-home orders have created serious challenges and providential opportunities to reflect the light and life of Christ to our world.

Coronavirus: Being Life-Givers in the Face of a Global Pandemic

God will not be restricted by quarantines and stay-at-home orders! Watch the brief message (3:16) below from Kurt Dillinger, Founder and President of LIFE International, to learn about the most important thing we can do in response to the challenges of the Coronavirus pandemic. “In a time when people are being filled with fear and anxiety, God can come and bring hope.”

“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

Even During This Pandemic, Our Work Continues

In light of the current world crisis created by the Coronavirus pandemic, we have taken several steps to protect our ministry partners, our staff, and our volunteers from transmission of the virus, and to act as life-givers:

  • Prayer remains our most important work. Through prayer God will teach all of us how to communicate, reach out, and respond to others at this time.
  • All LIFE International staff members are working from their homes, using videoconferencing to sustain HQ ministry activity during the current shelter-in-place order for our home state of Michigan.
  • We have suspended all international and domestic travel, and are rescheduling training and networking events for the fall.
  • We are actively seeking creative solutions using technology to stay connected to our international ministry partners as they facilitate life-giving ministry during this challenging time.

Life-Givers, Not Slaves to Fear

We have not made decisions out of fear; rather, we are motivated to be life-givers to our ministry partners around the world by safeguarding each other, and preventing any unwitting spread of the virus. We believe this gives us an enhanced opportunity to spread the message of hope and abundant life in Jesus Christ.

Rest assured that our work has not ceased! Far from it! We are taking this opportunity to use every technology tool at our disposal to remain engaged with our partners and hub leaders around the world. The vital task of building and nurturing relationships and strengthening partnerships continues, and life-giving ministries are being encouraged internationally, not presently through face-to-face interaction but through technology.

Demonstrating the Father’s Heart for Life Worldwide

Our hearts are going out to the many families impacted by COVID-19, keeping them in our prayers and seeking the Father for how He is leading us to respond in the coming days. We are taking the necessary steps to remain healthy so we can continue to do the work God has called us to do: helping people in every nation to know the Father’s heart for life, especially in this time of crisis when life is being threatened in every state and nation.
