In hospitals. In schools. In communities.
Across Uganda, leaders who gathered for a Journey of a Life-Giver training left with vision to carry the Father’s heart for life into the spaces they influence every day.
One participant reflected on a story shared during the training about Peter and John meeting the lame beggar on their way to the temple. The man had long been overlooked and passed over, but Peter and John paused. They saw him. They extended life. For her, the message was unmistakable. As she serves in schools and ministers to women, she recognized countless opportunities to live this out, to notice those who are often unseen and intentionally bring life to them.
Nearby, a social worker walking daily with at-risk teens felt a new urgency take root. She realized the realities and consequences of abortion were conversations her students needed. Rather than stemming from a place of fear, though, she wanted these conversations to be grounded in truth, compassion, and the knowledge that there are life-giving options for her teens when facing unplanned pregnancies.
In a local hospital, another participant described a calling that became just as clear. Gently, yet decisively, she shared her commitment to use her position to minister to patients and families. Her unique opportunity gives her the ability to meet both physical and spiritual needs as she cares for people and shares the transforming hope and truth she encountered through the training.
Others echoed the same stirring. One participant spoke of comforting her community. Another shared his desire to reach the next generation, teaching young people God’s design for relationships, sexuality, and family. He felt compelled to help them understand that life is sacred, purposeful, and never disposable, even in the face of unexpected circumstances.
This is the ripple effect of the Gospel when hearts encounter the Father’s heart for life.
It doesn’t stay in a training room. It moves into classrooms and clinics. Into conversations and communities. Into the everyday moments where people are seen, known, and given hope.
Because of one training, leaders are stepping out stirred and equipped. They are ready to mentor, counsel, teach, and comfort those God has placed in their paths. Their conviction is simple: No one is passed over. Because the Father’s heart for life is for everyone.
